Most everyone was so pleasant and kind. There was one CNA that was not but we really enjoyed especially Megan and Sarah. Very nice to have met and worked with you
My sister was admitted to Sky Canyon Post Acute. The receptionists were lovely. The social worker, Jacqueline was also lovely. Some cna’s were attentive, some were there just to do a job, very unpleasant. One RN was helpful, the other not. The case worker could have been more helpful & pleasant. My sister would use the call light asking for help, when I came to visit, it had been an hour. I went to get someone to help with using the bed pan. I guess the RN doesn’t listen to a resident’s lungs when they have a moist unproductive cough. The RN needs to address the patient’s call light and not wait for 1 1/2 hours as my sister was in distress. It was nice the facility had a lovely man & woman singing to the residents on the guitar. I know Skye Canyon can do better. I suggest that the staff to think upon the resident, ask themselves how would you want your auntie, parent, or grandparents to be treated. I ask that the case manager to show more concern toward the patient and their family. It is a very confusing time dealing with their facility and the insurance company, what is covered and what is not covered. Thank you.PC
